My next character is Abraham and he is born with Down syndrome and he is in the 2 grade and enjoys going outside and playing with friends. He has a mom and dad and also has a older sister who is 19 and in college. His sport favorite sport to play is soccer and he sometimes struggling because the way people treat him outside during recess
Allen, from exploring your blog, I want to, first of all, thank you for creating these characters who have different abilities. We are severely lacking representation of people with disabilities in mainstream media and culture. Although I am studying to be a special education teacher, it is my dream to produce a movie/tv show which includes characters as leads, as people who have a disability. Reading your blog has inspired me to continue to pursue this dream after I finish college, and I’m thankful to you for that! Can’t wait to hear more from you!

Hi Allen! I love the characters so far and was wondering how you came up with the names for your characters. Did they come from inspiration in your life?
