Last Character

Here is my last and final character and his name is Jacob . He is he is in the third grade and he enjoys listen to music and likes going to zoos. His favorite animal too cheetah because he enjoys it when it runs fast. He is adopted by two women named rachel and maria who have been wanting a child for awhile. He likes he is being loved and not discriminated against. Jacob has muscular dystrophy in which has caused him to be in a wheel chair. He has trouble walking, trouble using arms,breathing. But this dont stop him from enjoying life with family

  3. We love how Jacobs disability does not stop him from doing the things he loves. The details about his favorite things really show how cool Jacob is. What is Jacobs favorite kind of music and is he friends with the other characters?

  4. I love your character, Jacob! I work with someone who has Cerebral Palsy, and he has some of the same difficulties as Jacob. His name is Aidan, and he loves Lions! What is your favorite animal?

  5. Allen, we love Jacob and see that he is a strong character by the details you provided about him!! Jacob seems to be very open about his life and perseveres through his disability. We would love to know how fast Jacob can go in his wheelchair? Is he as fast as a cheetah??

  6. It is nice to hear about a character who overcomes their challenges! Glad to hear that Jacob’s muscular dystrophy doesn’t stand in the way of him enjoying time with his family. Sometimes it’s hard to get our minds off of the things that are happening to us.

  9. Hi Allen! I love how inclusive you are with your characters! It is so sweet to know they are all so diverse! This character has so many things to overcome but he has a lot of perseverance! He is so cool and so inspiring! Are all of your characters friends or have they not met yet and can come together and make a cool team?

  11. I love that you’re centering young characters with disabilities and same-gender parents, we don’t see characters with these experiences often enough. I’m excited to see what these characters will do!
