Here is Daniel who is in third grade and he likes to play the clarinet . He likes to pick on Abraham at recess and others. His dad is a really famous actor and makes millions of dollars and his mom is in the army. He lives with his grandmother since his parents are away and also his cousins lived with him as well. He has been sad and lonely because he misses his parents and he feels alone at school because of it. His favorite TV show is spongebob squarepants and his favorite character is squidward tentacles because he plays the clarinet.

  11. Hi Allen! Wow, I love the thought you put into this character. I feel like I know a lot about Daniel and his character even from this short description. In one of the comments you mentioned that because he may not be getting enough attention at home he acts out by picking on others like Abraham. I think this is a very thoughtful and accurate explanation to why Daniel may be picking on others the way he is. Nice work, Allen!

  13. I love how you related your character back to a piece of media. It was super creative to form your character off of these specific ideas! I also thought it was interesting that you established his parents’ careers and why Daniel’s home life is the way it is. I hope he finds happiness in his living situation!

  16. Holy cow dude! I feel like I’m just reading a book your descriptions are amazing. I can picture him in my head! Also if his dad is a really famous actor, who is he? Bob Ross? Bill Nye? Leonardo Dacpreo?

  17. Hey Allen, I love this story but dislike that Daniel bullies Abraham. Do you think he picks on Abraham because his mom is gone a lot because she is in the army? Missing a parent can be hard and also since the dad is famous, he may not be at home as much. Does Daniel bully Abraham for attention from others and his parents? Who is the famous dad?

  19. Hey Allen, Daniel’s character seems kind of sad because he misses his parents, which makes me think that may be why he has the tendency to bully other students. Does he get along with his cousins that he lives with, or is he mean to them too? Does he like that his dad is an actor and makes lots of money, even if it means he doesn’t get to see him very much?

  21. I like how you gave your antagonist these emotional layers of backstory. It’ll be interesting to see how his emotional attachment issues play into his relationships at school as the story progresses. Also, it was nice to hear you talk about your characters in class tonight, thanks for coming in to share!
